Welcome to Casa Esperanza Montessori Charter School!

Casa Esperanza is a 501c(3) charter school that offers a dual language curriculum and Montessori philosophy. We serve grades K through 8 in our tuition-free charter program, and also offer a private pre-K program.

Our approach to learning provides social, emotional, cognitive, and academic benefits to build a foundation for lifelong success. As we build our students to be global citizens, we strengthen their skills in leadership and in critical thinking. A collaborative spirit is characteristic of our school community among faculty and parents, and with the global community.

Our students are creative, independent learners, and self-directed problem solvers, due in part to our implementation of Montessori philosophy. Casa also offers a multicultural experience, so that families may choose a Spanish immersion curriculum or a Spanish enrichment curriculum.

We invite you to explore who we are, what we do, and how you can become involved.

WHAT IS MONTESSORI?

Montessori is a child-centered educational method.

“Free the child’s potential and you will transform him into the world.”

“The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child’s own natural desire to learn.”

“Children acquire knowledge through experience in the environment.”

“The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.”

“The greatest success for a teacher is to be able to say: The children are now working as if I did not exist.”
