Open Enrollment for 2024-2025 begins January 4, 2024!

School Tours Information

We do not offer private tours. We will offer 3 open house dates for families to tour and learn more about Casa Esperanza. Our open house dates are:

January 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM

January 30, 2024 at 4:30 PM

February 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM

Separate tours for our Pre-K program will be held an hour after the times listed above. Registration is not required. Email admissions@cemcs.org with any questions about tours.

Applications

Casa Esperanza Montessori offers two separate programs with a different approach to learning the Spanish language. There is a separate lottery for each program. Please make sure you know which program you would like to apply to. Being accepted to one program does not mean you can switch to the other program. If you apply to both the Immersion Program and the Enrichment Program for the same child, and you get selected and accept a seat in one of the programs, your child will be removed from the other program’s lottery immediately.

In the Enrichment program core content curriculum is taught in English. Students also participate in weekly Spanish classes. The goal of the Enrichment program is to familiarize students with Spanish vocabulary, conversation and culture.

In the Immersion program core content curriculum is taught in Spanish. Supplemental literacy instruction in English gradually increases by grade band. The goal is that once students reach 8th grade they are speaking, reading and writing in both languages 50% of the time.

Important Dates

Jan. 4 – Lottery Opens

Jan. 16 – Open House at 10:00 AM

Jan. 30 – Open House at 4:30 PM

Feb. 16 – Open House at 2:00 PM

Feb. 20 – Lottery closes at 12:00 PM and runs at 4:30 PM; Lottery results are sent via a Lotterease email.

Apr. 19 – Kindergarten Screenings

TBD – New families orientation meeting.

July 1 – Deadline to order PFA school materials

Aug. 7 – Meet the Teacher

Aug. 8 – First day of school; staggered entry info.
