“I came to Casa after working privately as their handyman at the old Sumner location, and joined the team when the new school was built. I have over 10 years experience in maintenance and repair.”

“I have been working at Casa for 5 years. I have an associate’s degree in business administration from my country Venezuela. What I like most about working at Casa Esperanza are my coworkers and what we learn and know about each other and the different cultures.

My greatest achievement is my family and to see all that we have achieved in this country that opened its doors to us. I am proud of my children, their achievements and all that we do together as a family. I love to take pictures and collect moments with my family and friends to keep important memories of our lives.”

“I was born in the US but raised in Colombia. My mom is Venezuelan so I can relate to both cultures. I studied at a bilingual school and did Business Management as my undergrad. I then moved to DC to do my MBA where I started working in health communications. There I met my husband who loves to travel and who wanted to pursuit a career in foreign service. In 2017, he got a job with the Peace Corps and we moved to Guatemala with our 1 and 3 yr old daughters. We lived there for almost 4 years. As we moved back to NC, we wanted a bilingual school for our bilingual girls. We knew Casa met all our needs and I decided to join Casa in 2022. I love Casa and love letting new families now what Casa is all about!”

“I am a native New Yorker from Brooklyn. I’ve lived in New Jersey, Boston and New Hampshire and now I am happy and proud to be living in the South.

I have a son who just started high school and a daughter who is finishing her last year at Casa. I’ve been the Attendance Coordinator for 7 years. My favorite part of Casa is all the smiles and hugs that I receive from the students daily!”

“My name is Celeste Saldana and I was born in Ecuador. I am proud to be the mother of two wonderful daughters Ivanna and Maria Celeste. My favorite hobby is walking my dog Lucas. I have been blessed to work for 20 years for this beautiful school and community Casa Esperanza Montessori!”

“My name is Cynthia De Amat and I’m the School & Student Program Coordinator. I joined CASA in 2018. I am from Lima, Peru, and moved to the USA 22 years ago. My family and I live in Holly Springs. I graduated from UNCG with a Bachelor’s in Human Development and Family Studies.

I am happy to be part of the CASA community and this year be able to continue supporting all of the childcare needs at CASA, including our amazing Before & Afterschool program, Intersession Camps, Early Release care, etc. Also, supporting our volunteers for all fun events planned for this year. During my time off, I enjoy watching documentaries on Netflix or dancing in a Zumba class! I’m looking forward to a great 2024-2025 school year!”
