Welcome to Casa Esperanza Montessori Charter School!

Casa Esperanza Montessori Charter School is a non-profit K-8 Public Charter School and private preschool founded in 2003 on the principles of the Montessori Method. Our approach also provides students a broader multicultural curriculum with two options: Spanish immersion, to build full fluency; and Spanish Enrichment, to gain a practical knowledge of the language. Parents choose one of the two programs. We are proud to share that many of our students go to high school with earned credits in foreign languages required for high school graduation when they leave Casa. Our curriculum with the Montessori method follows the NC standard course of study providing them a unique educational experience that strives to cultivate our students to become tomorrow’s global leaders. The Montessori and Dual language-enriched approach affords cognitive and academic benefits to build a foundation for lifelong success.

Since opening its doors in 2003 with 54 Kindergarten through second grade students, our Spanish Immersion and Enrichment programs have grown and served over 500 Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade students from culturally diverse families and an international staff who are united by their educational, social and ethical high standards.
