Meet Mrs. Connor, our Head of School
Mrs. Connor’s love for education peaked at the age of 16 when she worked with preschool students in her hometown, Yanceyville, NC. After graduating high school she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Birth-K and Elementary Education from the University of NC Greensboro. She also completed Masters Degree coursework in Special Education at the University of NC Pembroke. She was awarded the North Carolina Principal Fellows scholarship which allowed her to study school administration full-time while completing a 2 year Principal Internship at elementary, middle and high schools in Guilford County. She earned a Master of School Administration degree from North Carolina A&T State University upon completion of the program. She has served as an Principal in Charter Public, Traditional Public, and Virtual Public schools in North Carolina. Mrs. Connor is married to Kris Connor and has a son Christopher who will attend Casa Esperanza! In her spare time she enjoys traveling to new places with her family, lounging at the beach, shopping, and monogramming. She is a HUGE UNC Tarheel fan and enjoys watching (now that she no longer coaches) competitive cheerleading.
