Resources for Teaching about the Americas has the Latin America Data Base (LADB) for secondary educators. This site is the result of an educational project funded by the U.S. Department of Education at the University of New Mexico. See the Lesson Plans, Curriculum Resources, and Photos.

Fabula is a free software product for making bilingual stories with children. Download instructions are on the site. You will need Windows and Netscape 6 to run the program.

The Collier Thomas Study In this extensive study conducted in 23 school districts in 15 states over 14 years - leading ESL researchers Collier and Thomas conclude that dual language immersion out performs standard models of English immersion, ESL pullout and ESL content. This table summarizing their study results.
