Middle Grades at Casa Esperanza

Middle Grades Opening at Casa

At its January 2009 meeting, the board of directors considered the concept of operating a middle grades program at Casa. After considering the results of the feasibility study and hearing input from parents in attendance at the meeting, the board voted in favor of adding a middle grades program, beginning with 7th grade in the 2010 academic year, followed by the addition of 8th grade in the 2011 academic year.

 

An application to the State Board of Education was delivered to the Office of Charter Schools in October 2009. We eagerly await the decision of the State Board of Education regarding the expansion of Casa Esperanza Montessori's charter to include grades 7 & 8.

July 2010 Update: Our first middle grades class opens this school year. Many thanks to all who made this program expansion possible-we look forward to continuing success in all of our programs!
