2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR OPENINGS
Charter School Elementary opportunities:
ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF: We are currently completely staffed for administrative positions for the 2008-2009 school year.
EDUCATIONAL FACULTY: Our school hires both AMS and AMI credentialed Montessori teachers. We currently are accepting applications for one teaching position for the 2008-2009 school year for a full time Teacher in an dual-language, partial-immersion, Lower Elementary 6-9 classroom.
Prospective candidates must hold a BA/BS and a North Carolina State Certification in Elementary Education K-6. Teachers must have completed, or be willing to complete, Montessori AMS/AMI certification in lower elementary education from a MACTE certified Montessori training program. Strong reading, writing, and communication skills in both Spanish and English are required in this position. The application receipt deadline for this position is January 2, 2009.
CHILDCARE FACULTY (after school and intersession):
We have an employment position open for
- one after-school position from 3:00-6:00 pm, for two to five afternoons a week. This position is ideally staffed by an energetic person who can give homework support and offer a creative, fun, structured afterschool experience for school-age children. Previous childcare or teaching experience is required. This position is staffed on every day the school and/or childcare are open. If you have a child/ren of your own, they may attend the afterschool program free while you are at work at Casa.
- Teachers are also needed for the Intersessions throughout the school year. If you have a child/ren of your own, they may attend the intersession program free while you are at work at Casa.
