Admissions Procedures

In our public charter school, we currently have no openings. In our private preschool, we currently have no openings.

Information Tours for Adults in English are given twice a month on specific Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00-11:00 a.m. by appointment. Please check the school calendar on this website for specific dates. Spanish tours are available upon request and by appointment. Please call the school at 919.855.9811 to schedule a tour.

Adults attend information tours without their children so they may make an adult observation of the educational program.  Children are not admitted to classrooms during tours. After enrollment, students are invited to a special "get acquainted" tour of the school at the end of the year to learn their way around the school before summer vacation begins.

Casa Esperanza will begin accepting private preschool applications for the 2008-2009 school year on November 1, 2007.

Public Charter School Admission Procedures for the 2009-2010 school year: Parents who wish to enroll their child in the elementary charter school upon completion of the preschool program must make a new application for their child; that application will be used to enter the child in the Charter School Admission Lottery process for the child's kindergarten year (the third year of Montessori Children's House). There is no application fee for charter school admission.
